About Cindy

With over 20 years of management experience, I realized early on that the most meaningful and fulfilling part of my job was mentoring and coaching others on their journey up (or even off) the corporate ladder. In fact, one of my passions has always been in supporting people in finding the right path for them, whether that means helping them discover their dream job, or helping them see that they’re on the wrong road altogether.

It was my management experience that led me to launch Manage Fearlessly. The original intent was to share my experience around managing others and that to do it well, you'd realize it would be the most rewarding job you will ever have.

But after over 35 years in the banking industry, I went through my own transition out of corporate America and into solo entrepreneurship and if I'm honest with myself, it wasn't easy. I know the challenges I faced with that transition are shared by others. Whether you're transitioning into a leadership role, out of school, out of the military or into a new job, the path can often be bumpy.

This realization led me on the journey to becoming a certified coach.  In addition to offering real life management and leadership experience, I want to help others with on their own path.

Before founding Manage Fearlessly, I spent over 30 years at Bank of America and its predecessor organizations, where where I  held a series of positions of increasing responsibility. Before my retirement, I  served as the Global Commercial Banking Executive for the Bank's Mid-Atlantic Region.

I received my BS and MBA degrees from the University of Maryland, RH Smith School of Business, and completed my undergraduate degree summa cum laude with a focus in Human Resource Management. I served as President of the Alumni Association from 2002 to 2003, and am still a proud Life Member Terrapin!

Always involved in the business community and passionate about advancing social missions, I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Argan, Inc. (NYSE:AGX). Congressional Bank and Everymind.
